FirstyWork eBook Conversion Services
The first FirstyWork Industry Newsletter
We have been scouring the news to bring you interesting articles from the world of e-publishing and related industries. There was so much to choose from that exclusion was difficult, however we feel that we have some of the current issues that may be of interest to you.
In the last few weeks we have seen issues surrounding Amazon's pricing model and publishers reaction. This will no doubt continue to play out for a while. Our hope is that they focus on whether the customer gets value for money from the outcome whether real or perceived.
The iPad launched with great applause – the reviews, although mixed, do indeed side on the opinion of a revolutionary media platform. In addition there is a lot of news already of other organisations joining the ‘slate’ market before year end.
Every few weeks there is news about a new eReader and we will ensure this is added to our recently launched comparison site www.FirstyReaders.com.
As things continue to heat up elsewhere FirstyWorks’ view is that we should all keep doing what we are doing. In our case converting and selling eBooks to people that want them at a price that both publishers and consumers believe is fair. |
