eBook conversion process

We create eBooks from PDF, MS Word, QuarkXpress and Adobe InDesign to the eBook standard ePUB file format. FirstyWork are also able to convert to Mobipocket, or the .azw format for the Amazon Kindle.

Our technical team have vast experience in HTML, CSS and XML. Each project has a dedicated FirstyWorker and a dedicated Account Manager to deal with any day to day queries.

The eBook conversion process made simple:

• You upload your files via our online upload area
• Our Account Manager will contact you immediately to discuss formats and any further information required
• Estimate pricing and timelines will be supplied by us
• Upon receipt of a signed acceptance/purchase order the team will proceed with the conversion
• An invoice will be sent out
• A hard copy of the book is supplied by you
• The initial file will be converted to ePub
• Our test team will check the new file on Mac, PC, Reader and phone devices
• The heading and styling will be checked by us against the hard copy
• A sample of the file will be upoaded/sent to you for checking
• The full payment for conversion is received
• The final, approved ePub file is supplied to you
